Day 141 – The Sophia- Marie Green Chrysoprase Earrings

Ugh, it’s the usual Saturday night crunch for me.  So quickly, here are the glowing green chrysoprase and turquoise earrings I made today.

Happy Saturday everybody!

Day 140 – The Terry Tourmaline Mismatched Earrings

My install got postponed!  I had everything ready to go, (plus I  was up most of the night preparing), and just before I was about to leave, the owner of the shop had something come up, so now we’re on for Tuesday instead.

It’s actually a blessing… it’s a long weekend and beautiful and warm in Toronto now, so I get to start that off earlier than expected.  Plus I can add a few more pieces to the collection, including this stunning pair of mismatched tourmaline earrings.

Day 139 – The Lila Multi Gemstone Earrings

To me they look like drops of candy, but in actuality they are pretty little gemstones, pink topaz, amethyst, and white sapphires.

Part of my new collection that I’m installing tomorrow at Lilianne’s in Yorkville.

Day 126 – The Cassia Ancient Gemstone Earrings

Don’t these just look like they belong in the ROM or some other museum?  Even though they have the modern “twist” of being mismatched, everything else about them just says ancient to me, from the deep saturated gem tones to the name Cassia which just seems to fit.

Featuring rough cut kyanite, watermelon tourmaline and freshwater pearls set with simple gold vermeil findings.

Day 111 – The Lia Peace Earrings

Aren’t these fun?  A cute pair of oxidized sterling silver Swarovski crystal “peace” findings, with Hersey Kiss shaped rock crystal briolettes.  The perfect boho vibe. 😊

Day 96 – The Nefertiti Black Spinel Earrings

Look who’s wearing a pair of Liat Earrings!  This gorgeous creature at The British Museum.  I actually made these this morning before we went touring around and I was looking for an interesting opportunity to photograph them.  During our museum visit I came across this guy? gal? and I thought they suited him/ her wonderfully.  They are black spinel briolettes on gold filled findings with an ancient vibe.

Below is another rather attractive resident who lives in the museum.
