Day 119 – The Rosalind Vintage Rhinestone Earrimgs

Working on Vintage Assemblage today as I have a customer interested in buying some earrings that she says… “should be seriously blinged out”, for an event she has.  So these are the blingiest thing I could come up with.  Art Deco rhinestone ear posts to which I added even more bling plus freshwater pearls.

I’ll let you know if she bites.

Day 112 – The Adele Vintage Necklace

Came across a bunch of these vintage bits, which I then oxidized and added a sterling silver chain and hand-linked freshwater pearls.  Will be up for sale in my shop over the weekend.

Day 110 – The Marie-Helene Vintage Necklace

A very pretty vintage brooch that’s been “repurposed” into a stunning statement necklace.  Paired with moody oxidized sterling silver findings, it’s adds a glamorous edge to any outfit.  However it’s already been sold, and because it is a one of a kind piece, that’s that I guess.

Day 109 – The Irena Vintage Inspired Amethyst Earrings

Today it’s a variation on a theme.  I’m using the same oxidized sterling silver findings as yesterday’s piece, but with purple swarovski crystals and flawless faceted amethysts.  Makes a beautiful statement.

Day 108 – The Judith Vintage Inspired Earrings

I love pearls… but pearls combined with vintage inspired elements take the cake.  Here I’ve used some AAA freshwater pearls with red Swarovski crystals and marcasite-ish sterling silver oxidized ear wires to create a stunning evening look. And of course I’ve photographed them on my new fave vintage Parisian post cards.  Perfection πŸ™‚

Day 107 – The Daria Disco Ball Necklace

So it’s finally happened, after 106 days of perfect blogging attendance, I’ve missed my deadline.  πŸ˜”  I do plead guilty, but with an excuse.  (See excuse below).

This is a simple vintage rhinestone “Disco Ball” hung on an oxidized Sterling Silver chain.  Wore it out last night, and it added just the perfect amount of sparkle to my outfit.

(Excuse: I made this necklace yesterday afternoon but when I went to photograph it I realized that I had left my phone at my friend’s house.  So I took this picture using my husband’s phone instead, figuring I’d do my blog after retrieving my phone on our way out.  I did retrieve my phone, but went straight out for dinner with friends, drank some yummy Chardonnay & totally forgot about my blog until this morning.)

Day 106 – The Josette Vintage Assemblage Earrings

Ahhhh… taking photos of my vintage assemblage jewelry on vintage postcards from Paris is a revelation.  No filters are necessary, things instantly look in place, and I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see my work so perfectly set.

Here I’ve paired several vintage components, with pretty sterling silver findings.
